Job description.

Your primary mission is to help merchants across the United States adopt modern, reliable payment solutions that make their businesses run smoother and more profitably. In this role, you will identify potential clients, build strong relationships, and guide business owners through choosing the right merchant services for their needs.

You’ll spend your days prospecting, networking, running discovery conversations, presenting solutions, and closing deals. Success comes from your ability to listen closely, communicate clearly, and follow through with professionalism and consistency.

Job responsibilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospecting small, mid-sized, and enterprise businesses across multiple industries.
  • Managing a consistent pipeline of leads through outreach, referrals, and inbound interest.
  • Understanding each prospect’s payment environment, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Presenting Kelly Merchant Solutions’ products and value clearly and confidently.
  • Preparing quotes, proposals, and onboarding materials in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Partnering with internal teams to ensure smooth merchant activation and long-term satisfaction.
  • Tracking activities and results in CRM and hitting monthly sales goals.

Job requirements.

Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of sales experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, POS systems, or a related B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for business owners.
  • Comfortable running discovery calls, presenting solutions, and handling objections.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a pipeline, follow up consistently, and keep accurate CRM records.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with merchant services, payment processing, interchange, or terminal/POS solutions is a plus.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and reliability in all client interactions.
